Platform Validation is an entry level job, where it helps you to work on basic fundamentals of embedded and digital technology. By completing this course you are eligible and can certainly aim for the roles such as system validation engineer, Firmware debug Engineer, platform test engineer etc.

The primary goal of systems engineering (SE) is to develop a solution that meets the needs and requirements of stakeholders. Validation is the process by which engineers ensure that the system will meet these needs and requirements. The companies like Intel, Qualcomm, AMD, Apple, Samsung, Sony, HP, Dell and a number of BIOS and motherboard makers on it.

Each product has to be validated according to the specification and optimal performance that is designed for. This course mainly focused on learning basic fundamentals of processor architecture, how system works in different scenario and testcases that can run against the specifications.

In order to validate and check the specified working condition of the system against different aspects the test engineer should run different test cases, where we can measure and validate. For all these it is required to be skilled in using specialized tools where it helps to run different test cases to validate.

You will learn about PCI and USB initialization and working in the system. You will learn about network component and configuration of network component. You also learn about how system boots and how operating system loads practically. How to use system level tools in order to analyze the system and planning the test cases accordingly. Different methods of installing the operating system and troubleshooting the OS issues. You also learn about How to use testing and benchmarking tools in order to validate the test system, and also the concept of J-tag.plan different test cases and to setup the environment for the different test cases. Any Engineering graduate /Post Engineering graduate from Electronics or Computer Science background who have secured 60% marks throughout their academics can join this course. You should possess basic knowledge in C programming as an eligibility criteria to join this course. However if you do not know C programming, you can join our certification course and later can be upgraded to this course.

Duration of the this course is 8 weeks includes lab sessions.

Salary differs in each company based on the Technical skills and domain experience. However the average pay for a validation engineer is Rs 320,000 per year.
